Japanese Embroideries

KOGIN is one of the greatest Japanese traditional embroidery techniques, which originated over 200 years ago in Tsugaru, Aomori (Northern Japan).

KOGIN is now very popular with existing sewing enthusiasts who are attracted to its beautiful and unique stitching patterns in colourful materials.

SASHIKO is also Japanese traditional embroidery technique which originated over 200 years ago in Yamagata.

This class is perfect for beginners and we’ll start with stitching techniques and making a small item such as a handkerchief, bookmark, or coaster.

All the materials are imported from Japan so you will get to enjoy an authentic and high-quality experience. Enjoy a friendly and relaxed setting and leave the session with new skills, knowledge and all your beautiful creations.

We regularly run those classes and sell our hand-made items at markets in Sydney.
